We're all keen on getting a good deal on our cottage holiday, so are looking for cheap holiday cottages - but one thing you should bare in mind when booking your holiday cottage is that, unlike an overseas holiday, the price you pay is for the holiday cottage, not how many people holiday with you.
What this means is that a holiday cottage which may seem expensive, can work out quite cheap when you see many people it can sleep - you can rent some really quite luxurious places too, which when you share with friends or family, work out to be a really cheap holiday.
For example, say you see a fantastic looking holiday cottage, but its £800 for a week. You might immediately think "Blimey, I could fly to Gran Canaria for that"; well, you could indeed fly to Gran Canaria for that price, the trouble is you'd have to holiday on your own! If the cottage in this example sleeps 6 people, and you're planning on holidaying with 6 people, that means you're only paying £100 per person - which really is a cheap holiday.

So you get the principle I'm working to here. It's the price per person you need to look at, not necessarily the cost of the holiday cottage to give you a cheap cottage holiday. We've got some examples of holiday cottages which cost less than £100 below (that's £100 per person), so you can see what you can get for your money. It's worth having a little look to see what these cottages can offer you.
